Giving Tuesday

Join us on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, November 30th, 2021, for an opportunity to support our causes in our social justice movements. It is your chance to use your power as an individual to become a part of a global wide movement to transform our communities this #GivingTuesday.

2022 will be the year that JOSHUA sees many changes. We will be doing a reset for much of our programming strategies and community involvement. We want you to be a part of it!

What donating to us on this #GivingTuesday can do for the community:

Help us engage community members together by affording us the ability to reach out to fellow nonprofits and congregations.

Gather individuals and organizations to be present in the community whether it be for prayer for peace, standing for justice, or educational opportunities.

Expand our outreach efforts and advocacy strategies so that we have a greater base of people in standing up for equity.

Why is funding advocacy important?

  • We are here to influence positive change for those most affected by poverty and oppression. Our goal is to raise awareness to the issues of criminal justice, environmental justice, immigration, and more.
  • We aim to work with and gain the attention of the local government in passing legislation that will allow for the prospering of the environment and the people for generations to come. Education of social justice issues and gathering more people together is the primary goal so we have a greater reach on the community.
  • Although you may not see the immediate effects of advocacy, it has been life-changing for some people, and it is also the reason why there has been change for the better in our political systems, school systems, work lives, and our lives at home. When enough people rally together to enact change, social structures will notice. It is the power of the people coming together that will change lives!

With JOSHUA doing a reset in 2022, we need support in maintaining our organization.

Here are just some of our monthly costs that you as a supporter can help fund!
